If you would like to place an order with us, you can open a customer account or order as a guest. For both options we need your name, address and e-mail address. We need this data to process your order (Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO).
Depending on the chosen payment method, we collect bank and/or credit card data. Please note that if you choose the payment method "invoice" your data will be forwarded to the payment service provider RatePay and if you choose "direct debit" your data will be forwarded to the payment service provider Payolution where a credit assessment will be carried out. You give additional consent for this during the ordering process. By clicking on "Consent" you can inform yourself about the data processing.

The legal basis for this transmission are Art. 6 I b DSGVO and Art. 6 I f DSGVO. Transmissions on the basis of Art. 6 I f DSGVO may only take place if this is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of our company and does not outweigh the interests or fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subject, which require the protection of personal data.
For the purpose of deciding on the establishment, execution or termination of the contractual relationship, we also collect or use automatically generated probability values, the calculation of which may include address data, among other things. II.3. Processing when ordering the newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately communicated by you in accordance with your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO) to send you our regular e-mail newsletter. For this purpose we require an e-mail address from you as well as information which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the given e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter.
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure that the newsletter is sent out by mutual consent. In the course of this, the potential recipient allows himself to be included in a distribution list. Subsequently, the user receives the opportunity to confirm the registration in a legally secure manner by means of a confirmation e-mail. The address is only actively included in the distribution list if it is confirmed. For reasons of verifiability, we store the IP address and the time of registration and confirmation.
The newsletter software used is Newsletter2Go. In the process, your data will be transmitted to Newsletter2Go GmbH. Newsletter2Go is not permitted to sell your data and to use it for other purposes than for sending newsletters. With your objection your data will be deleted immediately, unless you have filed them with us in another context (e.g. for placing an order) and they are then subject to the legal retention obligations.
II.3. Processing for the purpose of sending postal advertising
We use the data (first and last name, address, data concerning your order and any voluntary information) that we have received from you within the scope of an order for the purpose of sending you postal advertising on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interests). You can object to this use of data at any time by sending a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
II.4. Processing when sending an application
If you would like to send us your application, please send it exclusively to the e-mail address bewerbung(at)wenko.de. Your application will then be sent directly to authorised members of our human resources department and processed there. If we are interested in your application, your application will be forwarded internally to the respective head of department, an invitation will then again be sent out by our human resources department.
With the sending of a letter of refusal, your data will be kept with us in the company (due to possible obligations of proof regarding the General Equal Treatment Act) for a maximum of six months and then deleted. Where applicable, we may also ask for your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO to keep your application for a longer period (usually six months) and then actively approach you in connection with a new position. You can object to this use of data at any time.
III. Data processing through tracking and social media
We use the cookies, tracking tools and remarketing tools described below on our website. They are used to satisfy our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) lit f. DSGVO) i.e. to measure the efficiency of our website, to design it according to market needs and to advertise it.
To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your terminal device and enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If you visit our site again to use our services, it will automatically recognise that you have already been with us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies and pixels. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, the complete deactivation of cookies can result in you not being able to use all the functions of our website. You can use appropriate tools or browser add-ons to prevent the use of pixels on our pages (e.g. the "AdBlock" add-on for the Firefox browser).
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will truncate your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide the website operator with further services associated with website use and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
You may refuse the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". As a result, IP addresses are further processed in truncated form, so that a possibility of personal reference can be ruled out. As far as the data collected about you has a personal reference, this will be excluded immediately and the personal data will thus be deleted immediately.
We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user (Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
Use of Google Remarketing
This website uses remarketing technology from Google Inc. ("Google"). This makes it possible to address visitors who have already been interested in our shop and our products with personalised, interest-related advertising. For this purpose, cookies are stored on your terminal device, thus enabling an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA, stored and subsequently truncated by the last three digits in order to prevent a unique allocation of the IP address. Google uses this data to evaluate your use of the website and uses this data to compile reports on website activity. These form the basis for further services associated with the use of the website and the Internet.
Google Tag Manager
For more efficient use and control of the web tracking tools, we use Google Tag Manager. To do this, the Tag Manager captures interactions that are performed on the website and then transmits them to the connected tools. As such, the Tag Manager collects the personal data, as already described for the use of the individual web tracking tools. The main purpose of this data collection is to transmit the data. To the best of our knowledge, no further processing takes place.
