Ambiente 2017: WENKO convinces with innovative ideas and professional presentation!
565 novelties for the bathroom, kitchen, laundry and living sectors attracted visitors from all over the world
Hilden/Cologne, February 2017. This year's Ambiente again exceeded the visitor record achieved last year and the medium-sized family-run company WENKO referred to the personal success of the trade fair event as 'gigantic‘.
At the extremely generous trade fair booth – measuring 450 square metres – WENKO impressively proved that in 2017, it is once again the brand with the better idea. The professional and clearly arranged presentation of the total of 565 novelties from the competence fields bathroom, kitchen, laundry and living equally convinced the regular and first-time visitors both from home and abroad.
The top innovation in household products: the WENKO worldwide innovation – the "10-in-1 Fixing without drilling concept especially for the kitchen" met with a particularly favourable response. WENKO is thus the first one to offer two well thought-out and stylish kitchen series in the category "Fixing without drilling“ and also enables the later assembly of chic and useful accessories in the "kitchen habitat“. The fact that WENKO is the number 1 in this segment and intends to stay there was impressively ensured by the company once again this year by the extension of the popular "Fixing without drilling" range – thanks to the new EXPRESS-LOC adhesive system. Matching accessories for the bathroom from the stainless steel toilet roll holder through to the swing top bin can be comfortably mounted on all suitable surfaces in next to no time using this innovative system. A clean solution, requiring no direct contact with the adhesive. WENKO presented top-quality designed air dehumidifiers in trendy colours as absolute eye-catchers to prove that functionality and design are not contradictory. Novelties for the bathroom such as modern stand units and anti-mould shower curtains with new designs and integrated hanging facility, were also the centre of attraction with the visitors.
Another WENKO trade fair highlight was a special charity campaign of the "Fixing without drilling" brand ambassador Detlef Steves, who provided 20,000 Euro together with the company for the children's aid projects of the foundation "RTL – Wir helfen Kindern“.
